Question: Can I try mCloud before purchasing?

Answer: Absolutely! You can sign up for a free registration HERE.

Question: What Windows Operating Systems does the mCloud Desktop Conversion Tool work on?

Answer: Windows XP Service Pack 3 and newer so essentially all Windows Desktop Operating Systems. Windows XP workstations do require network level authentication to be enabled via the registry. Instructions

Question: What brand/model Thin Client does mCloud support?

Answer: mCloud supports any Thin Client with Microsoft RDS Support. Our most popular product to date has been the Dell / WYSE 3030 and 3040.

Question: What is the mCloud Desktop Conversion Tool?

Answer: The mCloud conversion tool quickly configures your desktop or laptop to start up and launch directly into mCloud - essentially putting your computer into “Kiosk” mode.

Question: Will I be a local Administrator on my Hosted Virtual Desktop (HVD)?

Answer: Yes. There are no restrictions - you will have the same capabilities and access levels on your HVD as you do on your physical desktop.

Question: Can I take advantage of Microsoft RemoteFX ?

Answer: Yes. RemoteFX is a set of protocols for Microsoft’s Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) that are used to remotely deliver Windows virtual desktops over a local area network (LAN ). RemoteFX is required to enable the use of external devices such as USB cameras, scanners etc. RemoteFX must be enabled on your physical desktop / laptop.
